If you have enough creativity, then you could create a good looking rthro model. There are a handful of models that are decent and somewhat fit Roblox such as Noob attack or Cyclock. Many of the places environments are scaled to suit R6 players and the textures are simplistic in comparision to the detailed anthropromortic humanoids. Barely any game that supports Rthro, scaling or matching the style of these models.Despite this, rarely any Robloxian wears it seriously. Rhtro has been criticized to be potentially abused by Oders and trolls with some avatars and the scaling feature.Magma Fiend was infamously used in an NSFW game. Some of these models were obtained from asset stores such as Unity store which feels lazy and most of these models aren't for games with a style like Roblox. You cannot put shirts or pants on most of these models as the textures cannot be changed and some accessories won't fit well with the models. Also some games can be abused with Rthro models in which they have thinner body parts and in some cases you'll have bigger hitboxes wearing them which makes them undesirable in combat games. This is especially the case for games that mainly only enable R6, rthro models in R6 mode move unnatural compared to R15.There is an argument that rhtro was made for developing games and for creative diversity, but this would backfire because you'd end up including some avatars that would be very intrusive to the game's environment. But this range feels too niche and majority of the platform is based around the blocky style. A possible reason they are implementing anthro is because it appeals to investors, newer developers and older audiences. The unsubtly excessive promotion of anthro has led to concerns about the future Roblox avatars since it feels like they are trying to distance themselves from the blockier models. This rule got reverted after a few days but this shows the intent Roblox goes to invest in Rthro models. ![]()
